Some community colleges in California are starting to offer their own bachelor’s degrees. One newly approved program is in ecosystem restoration and applied fire management at Feather River College, in Plumas County in northeast California. Can this program help more students get bachelor’s degrees and at the same time help restore a region devastated by wildfires?
