Michelle King has steered the nation’s second largest public school system to calmer waters. That’s the consensus of several prominent education leaders and others who work closely with the district in a variety of roles.
An EdSource survey of the state’s 30 largest districts shows that in 17 out of 30 districts, the superintendents have been in office for three years or less.
