As a result of Executive Order N-34-20 issued by Gov. Newsom on March 20 to combat the coronavirus, the time California has to count the vote was extended 21 days, to April 24.  As of March 31, only 93,982 votes remained to be counted.

As a result these results are virtually final.  U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, with 35.8 percent of the vote, led former Vice President Joe Biden, in second place with 27.9 percent/ Proposition 13, the $15 billion state school and community college construction bond measure, was defeated, with 46.9 percent yes votes, and 53.1 percent no votes.

See below for final results through our automated tracker.

Shame on the legislators for using the number 13 in this 2020 Bill. I’m sure they were well aware that this Prop would be confused with the Prop 13 of 1978. Why didn’t they just skip to 14 as most high rise buildings do? You almost never see the 13th floor in a building. I’m just saying.
    NO ON 13 !!!

Donald, skipping the 13th floor is based on an old superstition. The designation of #13 was an unfortunate coincidence, and sponsors of the bond knew that could be a problems, but there is a state law designating the numbering order for propositions. To your point, however, Assemblyman Patrick O'Donnell, D-Long Beach, whose bill created the wording of the bond, announced last week he would introduction legislation retiring #13 on subsequent numbering cycles. Dems are ballot harvesting now. Digging out all those ballots from the trunks of cars like they did in 2018. They won’t be done counting lost ballots till April 1. Stop the madness. Stop voter fraud

The state has a surplus of funds now – they don’t need any more of our hard earned dollars. We are already the most taxed state in the country and yet we have the worst schools, homelessness, roads, etc….No more money for Sacramento! No more money for the unions either!

Never trust a Democrat politician their goal is to cheat and lie to get what they want for their agenda of corruption.

So glad my fellow citizens saw fit to not give more funds to the piggy politicians to misappropriate! We see with the train to nowhere how they balloon costs to funnel taxpayer funds to themselves and cronies, while we get nothing, except have our tax dollars out towards things we didn’t approve. It is sad to see how many votes were wasted on non viable candidates in this election. Biden could’ve taken the … Read More

It is sad to see how many votes were wasted on non viable candidates in this election. Biden could’ve taken the state and helped end the primary race earlier. We all know Sanders won’t be given the nomination from the DNC; he’s not even a Democrat.

Does anything happen to the votes or delegates that went to candidates who are no longer in the race before March 3?

No on 13, why should we trust them with more money now? Take more from the lotto if you need it.

No on 13! Don’t let the land developers off the hook!
