To Readers of EdSource Online:
I wanted to let you know that next week we’ll be launching a redesigned website that will be more user-friendly and graphically exciting as we adapt to the demands of the new communications age.
New website, same great content:
We aren’t changing what we do, just how we display it. The new site will make it easier for you to access our daily reports from our team of EdSource Today writers and reporters, as well as our in-depth policy reports, surveys and other useful resources for the education community. In a major improvement, our redesign will also work with tablets and smart phones, so you will have easier access to our reports wherever you are.
Website down while we make the transition:
In order to move all the reports and resources in our current database – produced by EdSource’s staff over many years – to the new site, we’re going to have to shut edsource.org down for a few days. Please expect an EdSource blackout from 5 p.m. on Friday, June 20 until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24 while our web staff makes the transition. After that, we will be up and running on the new site!
Thank you for your patience during this transition. We look forward to your feedback on the new site when it launches next week.
Best regards,
Louis Freedberg, Executive Director, EdSource
