The Central Valley’s Taft High School became the latest site of a school shooting. A gun-wielding student opened fire, wounding a student and a teacher at the school, situated in Taft near Bakersfield. Thankfully there were no fatalities. The 16 year old student alleged to have carried out the attack is in police custody.
